Hi everybody, domestics first, Gav who we have so sadly lost, ran the previous WHO welfare fund which after sorting out a lot of issues required topping up.
I have paid out $250 NZ which is £128.61 for Claret50's flowers, which i was going to get back when Gav opened up the fund to donate for future welfare issues.
So this is a new fund I have set up which can be used to pay off my £128 and any future requests. I have sent flower tributes to Australia, NZ and USA and a couple of
UK and believe me it is very well received by families who have lost loved ones. Also it has helped a number of WHOers who needed help. I will be posting details of funds on forum, will also ask if Ted and defjam don't mind me giving them full account details to make sure everything is accounted for and above board. That's it lets go

Donations to the fund can be made here-->:WHO Fundraiser

Flowers sent today
RIP Gavin (Gavros) from all your friends at West Ham online and all
those you helped, you will be sadly missed.

Re: The WHO welfare fund - gofundme donations
What a cruel twist of fate that the bloke that set up the previous fund to support those in need ends up passing away himself.

I’ll contribute, thanks for setting up.

Well done Charley. Thanks.

Double sad when it would typically be Gavros sorting this kind of thing.

Re: The WHO welfare fund - gofundme donations
andy after a few days of waiting for Gavros to reply that thought did cross my mind, what used to happen is i would sort flowers out get a receipt over to Gav and he would reimburse me, so i was waiting for him to top up fund so i could get the money back to me for Claret50 and in the end a new fund had to be set up so we can send flowers to his funeral as you say a cruel twist of fate

Chucked a score in. It would have been more if it weren't for Xmas coming up.

Very bad timing on Gav's part.

I've made a small donation. Still shocked by this, we shared a love of Vietnamese food, hope there's plenty at his party deck in the sky.
